Anthurium peltigerum is a rare and exotic species of Anthurium known for its striking foliage and unique growth habit. While not as commonly found as other Anthuriums like Anthurium clarinervium or Anthurium warocqueanum, it shares the general care needs of most tropical Anthuriums.

Care Guide for Anthurium peltigerum:

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water: Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Let the top inch dry out slightly before watering again. Use distilled or rainwater if possible to prevent mineral buildup.

Humidity: Requires high humidity (60-80%). A humidifier, regular misting, or a terrarium setup can help maintain moisture levels.

Temperature: Thrives in 18-26°C (65-80°F). Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Soil: Use a well-draining, airy mix such as orchid bark, sphagnum moss, perlite, and a small amount of peat or coco coir.

Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a diluted, balanced fertilizer or one high in nitrogen for foliage growth.

Propagation: Can be propagated through division or stem cuttings with aerial roots.

Additional Tips:

Wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust and help with photosynthesis.

Best grown in a warm, humid greenhouse or an indoor space with controlled conditions.

As a rare Anthurium, it may require specialized care and patience for optimal growth.

Funny and not too harsh
Format: Hardcover
This is a funny little book that even most religious people should be able to enjoy. It doesn't go too far in poking fun. A highlight is the peek inside Flanders' head where one can inspect the varioius compartments of his mind. --Guy P.
