Golden Acre Cabbage (2g) Description:
Golden Acre Cabbage is a healthy source of vitamin C and fiber. These mini cabbages are a favorite in gardens because they grow relatively quickly. You can eat your homegrown Golden Acre Cabbage raw or cooked in a variety of dishes. Grow Cabbage using Golden Acre seeds from Patriot Seeds. Our seeds are 100% heirloom and can be stored for 5+ years in their resealable heavy-duty packages. Cabbage is a hardy crop, friendly to most growing regions.

Cabbage: Golden Acre Planting Instructions:
Start seeds inside 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost of the spring or direct sow the seeds outside once the soil temperature is 40 F and the soil is workable. Plant seeds in a place with full sun, 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep and 3" apart. When the plants are 4 to 6 weeks old, you can start transplanting your seeds into rows 1 to 2' apart, in plantings 18 to 34" apart. Use mulch to preserve soil moisture, protect the roots, and reduce competition between plants. Grow time is 65 days.

Cabbage: Golden Acre Harvesting Instruction:
Cabbage can be harvested at any time, but you will get the best yield if you cut the heads when they are solid. To check, apply pressure to the cabbage head with your hand. Harvest quickly, before outdoor conditions cause the cabbage heads to crack or split.
